The story
Launceston Asphalting brings 20+ years of asphalt experience to Northern Tasmania because we got tired of seeing jobs done badly. Sub-base cut, joints skipped, hot mix laid too cold, finished in a rush, driveways that lasted 3 years when they should have lasted 25.
Launceston Asphaltingruns the way we wanted our own driveway to be done. Strip the topsoil properly. Compact the base to spec. Set the falls. Wait for the right weather. Call for hot mix when we're ready to lay it, not the other way around. Roll it tight while it's still hot.
We've laid more than 200 residential driveways in Launceston since starting up. Carparks across the city, footpath reinstatements for council, trench works for telco contractors, and pothole patching for everyone from local councils to private rural properties. Same standard on every job.
